Jammu, May 11 (NVI): A mortar shell was recovered from the Devek River near Kolpur village in the Ramgarh area of Samba district on Monday
Officials said that the shell was noticed by locals, following which police and security agencies rushed to the spot and secured the area.
A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team from District Police Lines (DPL) Samba later defused the mortar shell safely at around this evening officials added.
No loss of life or damage to property was reported in the incident.—(NVI)
