Samba, Mar 23 (NVI): A mysterious blast occurred outside a residential house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district on Monday morning.
Sources said the explosion took place around 2:00 am near the main gate of the residence of former sarpanch Jai Ram Sharma at Gawala Talab village in the Ghagwal sector, located nearly 10 kilometres from the International Border.
The impact of the blast uprooted the main gate and damaged a portion of the boundary wall. However, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
A team of forensic experts reached the spot soon after the incident and collected samples to determine the nature and cause of the explosion.
Police have registered a case in this regard, and investigations are underway to ascertain the exact cause of the blast.(NVI)
