New Delhi (NVI): Government is all set to launch a nation-wide online Hackathon to encourage data-driven innovations and solutions for citizen grievance redressal system, which will engage young minds of the country from students, start-ups, corporate, innovators, researchers, academia and other communities.
The Hackathon is a joint initiative of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the Hackathon here on November 5.
The basic objective of the Hackathon is to provide technology driven solutions to improve the grievance redressal mechanism in the country. DARPG would share various relevant citizen grievance system datasets with the participants through OGD Platform to address a range of problems.
As part of this initiative, a Chatbot will be created to help the Citizens to resolve their common queries related to filing a Grievance in the CPGRAMS portal and expedite smooth submission of grievances, an official statement said.
The categories of probable target output expected out of Hackathon include Chatbot, User Story Map/Pipeline, Application system (web and mobile) and Predictive Models.
