Navy Day: Students get warship ride
More than 1750 students from schools across Visakhapatnam visited INS Ranvir and INS Karmuk .

Students visited Indian Navy Ships in Visakhapatnam.
Visakhapatnam (NVI): As part of the Navy Day celebrations, more than 1750 students from across Visakhapatnam schools visited the Indian Navy Ships.
According to an official statement, students from 33 schools visited the ships on October 22 and 23.
“Despite inclement weather, the event had an overwhelming response from over 1750 students from 33 schools, who visited INS Ranvir, a destroyer and INS Karmuk, a missile corvette,” the statement said.
The students were taken on a guided tour of the ships and were briefed about the diverse weapons and equipment fitted onboard.
The young visitors had the opportunity to interact with the ‘Men in White’ and experienced life in the Navy from close quarters.
The students were also explained on various entry schemes to take up career in the Armed Forces in general and the Indian Navy in particular during the visit.
