Nepal COVID-19 tally hits 15,491; death toll 34

New Delhi (NVI): Nepal reported 232 new cases of coronavirus today, taking the national tally to 15,491, according to local media reports.

The country’s Ministry of Health and Population said, 272 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours after recovering from the virus. With this, 6,415 have been cured or discharged across the country so far.

As of today, coronavirus has spread to all 77 districts of Nepal, as per the reports.

The ministry also said, there are 686 cases of infection in Province 1; 4,083 cases in Province 2; 525 cases in Bagmati Province.

Likewise, 1,133 cases in Gandaki Province; 3,942 cases in Province 5; 1,540 cases in Karnali Province; and 3,582 cases in Sudurpaschim Province.

At present, 9,042 people are in isolation and 33,125 are in quarantines across the country, it said.

Meanwhile, two COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed by the ministry today, which has taken the total death-toll from the disease to 34 in Nepal.
