New Delhi (NVI): The Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh had a miraculous escape, when the helicopter carrying him crash-landed, following a technical snag in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on October 24, officials said.
According to officials, all passengers and the crew sustained injuries and have been evacuated to the Command Hospital in Udhampur.
Officials citing medical investigations said that all have sustained blunt and superficial injuries and were stable.
The first to reach the spot were villagers, who wholeheartedly assisted the Army in management and evacuation of the injured, and the Army salutes them, officials added.
The incident took place, when Lt Gen Ranbir Singh was visiting units in the Poonch Sector.
