New Delhi, Nov 24 (NVI): In a grand celebration of culture and commerce, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated Jammu and Kashmir Day at the 43rd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024, held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The Jammu and Kashmir Pavilion stood as a centerpiece of the fair, offering a glimpse into the region’s unparalleled heritage, craftsmanship, and natural beauty.
Addressing the gathering, which included dignitaries, industry leaders, artisans, and visitors, the Chief Minister highlighted the unique cultural and economic wealth of Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged attendees to explore the pavilion and support the artisans and entrepreneurs who bring the region’s finest creations to life.
“From exquisite handicrafts and luxurious handlooms to premium agricultural and horticultural products, Jammu and Kashmir offers treasures that are unmatched. I invite everyone to visit our pavilion and experience the authenticity of our indigenous products,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister extended a heartfelt invitation to people across the country to visit Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing its breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. “Come to Jammu and Kashmir in the summer of 2025 to escape the heat and immerse yourself in the region’s charm, from snow-capped peaks and lush valleys to sacred sites like the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine,” he said.
