Kishtwar, Oct 17(NVI): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited Mulwarwan village in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, where 68 houses were damaged by fire last week.
During his visit, Abdullah announced the establishment of two fire stations in Marwah and Warwan, equipped with adequate fire tenders. He emphasized that this measure is intended to prevent future issues in controlling fires, should such an event occur again.
“The village has suffered a huge loss. It’s our responsibility to take care of the people here. We will rebuild your homes. I promise you that we will fulfill your demands as soon as possible,” Abdullah said.
He also assured the villagers that ambulances would be provided and a special recruitment drive would be initiated to create employment opportunities for the youth in the area. (News Vibes of India)
