Omicron cases in India go up to 415

New Delhi: Omicron cases in India have increased to 415, with reporting 57 new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry, Maharashtra has recorded the highest number of Omicron cases followed by Delhi.

The total number of Omicron cases in Maharashtra has risen to 108 and Delhi to 79.

Meanwhile, the country reported 6,650 new Covid cases and 387 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.

With this, the country’s active cases now stand at 77,032, which is the lowest in 579 days while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,79,520.

Around 7,286 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,42,23,263.

The vaccination figure has reached 1,41,01,26,404 across the country with inoculating 66,09,113 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, it said.

Yesterday, the country reported 6,650 Covid cases and 374 deaths in 24 hours.

The country reported 7,495 fresh Covid cases and 434 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.

A day prior to that, the country reported 6,317 fresh Covid cases and 318 fatalities in 24 hours.

During the previous 24 hours, the country reported 5,326 fresh Covid cases and 453 deaths.
