New Delhi: Omicron cases in India have increased to 358 while the overall Covid figure in the country was reported to be 6,650 during the last 24 hours along with 374 deaths.
According to the Health Ministry, Maharashtra recorded the highest number of Omicron cases followed by Delhi.

The cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,79,133, the ministry said.
Around 7,051 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,42,15,977.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,40,31,63,063 across the country with inoculating 57,44,652 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, it said.
Yesterday, the country reported 7,495 Covid cases and 434 deaths in 24 hours
A day prior to that, the country reported 6,317 fresh Covid cases and 318 fatalities in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, the country reported 5,326 fresh Covid cases and 453 deaths.
