Jammu, Mar 16 (NVI): One labourer was killed and several others were injured after a landslide struck near the HRT project site in the Dangduru area of Kishtwar district on Monday.
Sources said the landslide occurred at the project site, trapping several workers under debris. In the incident, one labourer lost his life while a few others sustained injuries.
Soon after the incident, rescue teams from the concerned agencies rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation to evacuate the trapped workers and assist the injured.
The injured have been shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment, while efforts are underway to ensure the safety of other workers at the site.
