Quetta, Feb 2 (NVI) Issuing the latest update on its ‘Operation Herof 2’ a few minutes back, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) said it continues to control multiple locations across Balochistan even after 58 hours and over 220 personnel of Pakistani security forces have been eliminated so far, as per the preliminary estimates.

“Operation Herof Phase Two has entered its third day and continues across different areas of Balochistan even after 58 hours,” said the BLA in its new statement.

“For the past three days, Baloch fighters have been fighting with determination and courage, continuously forcing the enemy forces into disarray, and in several areas the authority of the occupying army has been completely dismantled,” said the statement issued by spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

“BLA fighters are holding strong positions at multiple locations,” he said.

Giving details, he said the city of Noshki and a large section of the army camp remain under the control of the Baloch Liberation Army, where occupying Pakistani forces are facing intense pressure and retreat.

“According to preliminary and cautious estimates, the total number of enemy fatalities among the occupying Pakistani army, police, CTD, and the army-backed death squad operatives has reached close to 220,” the BLA spokesman said.

“These figures are not final, and further increases in enemy losses are expected as the ground situation develops,” he said.

Complete and final details of the enemy’s human and material losses will be released to the media soon after compilation, he said.

“During the operation so far, the number of martyred BLA fighters has reached 27, including 14 fidayeen of the Majeed Brigade, 8 fighters from the Fateh Squad, and 5 fighters from the STOS unit,” he said.

About Noshki, the spokesman said it remains under the control of the Baloch Liberation Army, and fighters continue to hold their positions at several other locations.

In areas where the completion of operations has not been announced, the situation remains active and operations are ongoing, Jeeyand Baloch said.

“The Baloch Liberation Army once again appeals to the Baloch people to remain cautious, maintain a safe distance from the enemy, and continue providing support and cooperation to the fighters with unity and responsibility, as has been done over the past three days,” he said. (NVI)
