Jammu, Mar 9 (NVI): Security forces during a routine area domination exercise in the Billawer area of Kathua district recovered two identity cards believed to be linked with Pakistan-based individuals, officials said on Monday.
According to details, the recovery was made during a search operation carried out by security personnel in the area. The recovered identity cards include one in the name of Mohd Umar Farooq, described as a Pulwama attack mastermind, and another belonging to Khalid Usman, reportedly a personnel of (FC).
They said the recovery has been taken into possession for further investigation to ascertain how the documents reached the area and whether they are linked to any terrorist movement or cross-border activity.
Security forces have intensified searches in the surrounding areas, while further investigation into the matter is underway, sources added.(NVI)
