Pak resorts to unprovoked CFV along LoC in J&K’s Poonch, injure civilians

Srinagar (NVI): In yet another ceasefire violation, Pakistan Army today resorted to heavy unprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) in Degwar, Malti and Dallan areas in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, causing injuries to civilian, defence officials said.

The Pakistani troops targeted civil areas causing injuries to civilians at around 6.15 pm. They fired with small arms and continued intense shelling with mortars along the LoC, officials added.

The official further stated, “The Indian Army retaliated befittingly.”

In Rajouri district also, Pakistani Army violated ceasefire in Nowshera sector at about 6 pm.
