Peshawar: At least 7 Pakistan Army personnel, including a Major-rank officer, were killed in an explosion-cum-firing attack in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan.
The explosion took place when a military vehicle carrying the soldiers was on its way to Kachi Kamar area of Sultan Khel in Lakki Marwat District.
It was followed by firing by some armed men, according to reports.
The Pakistan military spokesman said a Major along with 6 other soldiers were killed in the incident.
The explosion completely destroyed the vehicle and created deep crater at the site.
