Pakistan: 7 soldiers killed in TTP attacks

Peshawar: At least 7 personnel of Pakistani military were killed and several injured in multiple attacks by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in various parrys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province since last night, according to the Islamist outfit.

Two army personnel were killed when TTP attacked Zarkhni post in Malikshi area of Bannu district in North Waziristan with light and heavy weapons including laser gun last night, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said today.

Separately, in Abakhel area of ​​Spinwam in North Waziristan, there was a clash between TTP and army last night, in which two army personnel were killed and one injured, he said.

The Mujahideen managed to get out safely, the spokesman said.

Today, TTP ambushed an army convoy in Asman Manza area of ​​Ladha in South Waziristan in which one army officer was killed and another was injured, Khurasani said.

This evening, TTP attacked an army post along Hasukhel bridge in Mir Ali area of Bannu district in North Waziristan, “and killed an officer of the impure army”, the spokesman said.

In another attack this evening, TTP attacked a post of paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) in Pejah Alay Khel area of ​​Shaktoi in South Waziristan and killed one FC official, he said.

TTP also ambushed an army convoy, consisting of 15 to 20 vehicles on the bypass road in Khajuri area of ​​Mir Ali in Bannu district of North Waziristan this evening, he said.

It is believed that there were a number of casualties in this attack.
