Kabul, Sept 21 (NVI) Pakistan yet again carried out cross-border attacks at Afghanistan, killing three civilians, including a woman, and 4 were injured, evoking an angry reaction from the Taliban regime which vowed to retaliate appropriately.
Pakistan carried out attacks in Kunar and Paktika provinces of Afghanistan between 3 AM and 4 AM local time, ostensibly to target TTP locations.
In the attack, some civilian houses were hit, resulting in human and material losses.
In Kunar, three civilians — a woman and two men — were killed while two women and two men were injured, according to Afghanistan’s Taliban regime spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid.
“All of them were local civilian residents,” Mujahid said in a post on X.
As for Paktika, a house and a local shop were shelled but no human casualties were recorded, he added.
“The Pakistani military establishment has once again committed such a crime, with the aim of diverting attention from the security failures if faces within its own country,” the Afghan regime spokesman said.
“We condemn this aggression and injustice, and consider it a repetition of the crimes,” he said.
“The Afghans will respond to this aggression with an appropriate retaliation,” he warned. (NVI)
