Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight said it killed 6 Pakistan Army personnel and injured one in a mine attack today in Shiwa district in Bannu in North Waziristan.
“Mujahideen of TTP detonated a mine blast on an army convoy in Bangi Dur area of Shiwa district this afternoon,” its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said.
In the blast, 6 Army personnel were killed and one was injured, he added.
Yesterday, Khurasani said, the mujahideen of TTP attacked an army officer with a laser gun in Tangi Abut Khel area of Tiarza district of South Waziristan Province.
