Peshawar: Desperate to show results in fight against Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Pakistani secret agencies and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) are pulling out Mujahideen and other suspects from prisons and killing them in fake encounters, the outfit said today and vowed to avenge such acts.
In a statement, the TTP said the prisoners are being taken out of jails and martyred all over the country as the Pakistani State agencies want to deceive the people as if they are achieving success in the war against the Islamist outfit.
“For the past several days, secret agencies and CTD have been extracting Mujahideen or suspected cadres of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan from prisons across the country and killing them in fake encounters,” said the statement issued by its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani and sent to News Vibes of India (NVI).
He said the State agencies have, in the recent days, martyred more than 20 people in such a manner in Marwat, Bannu, North Waziristan, Nowshera and other places.
The killed people included scholars and students, he said.

“All these are failed tactics like the old and spent cartridges of secret agencies, by which they want to create fear on one hand and on the other hand, to deceive the people as if they are achieving success in the war,” Khurasani said.
“We sympathize with these common martyrs, who include Mujahideen, and consider it our duty to avenge their martyrdom,” he said, adding that the outfit has demonstrated it earlier too.
