Jammu, Sep 23 (NVI): A pigeon believed to have flown in from Pakistan was found in the RS Pura sector of Jammu carrying a ring bearing a Pakistani number, officials said on Wednesday.
The pigeon was noticed by locals and subsequently handed over to security agencies, which are examining the ring and verifying the details linked to the mobile number, they said.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the origin of the pigeon and the circumstances under which it reached the area, officials said.—(NVI)
