Islamabad, Mar 18 (NVI) A Pakistani soldier, who recently deserted and made certain shocking revelations about the military’s covert operations, has been killed in mysterious circumstances, suspectedly by the country’s intelligence agencies.
The soldier, speaking in Pashto, had recently claimed in a video that the Pakistan Army was planning a brutal operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan after the Ramzan month ends.
The aim of the operation is ethnic cleansing of Pashtuns and Balochs, he had said while giving reasons for his leaving the Army.
He also said that the Pakistan government is used to orchestrate the assassinations of religious scholars and alleged that mosque bombings are carried out by the military itself.
The ex-soldier accused the military of committing severe human rights violations and admitted to killing 12 people on direct orders from his officers.
Experts link his killing to these revelations made by him. (NVI)
