Bandipora, Aug 18: The former Apni party vice president and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Sunday in Bandipora said that he will take the decision to join any party after meeting with workers.
Speaking with the media at his residence in Bandipora, Usman Majid said that during the elections it is common for people to come and go in political parties, it is their choice where they feel comfortable.
Replying to a question of joining congress Majid said that no such decision has been taken yet and said any decision to join any political party before or after elections will be taken by speaking with ground level workers.
“If my workers suggest that I fight the election as an independent candidate, or if they said that they will join any political party before or after elections, I will do that,”.
He further added that people’s trust in political parties is decreasing as they did not stick to their promises. “Kashmiri peoples understand everything they have been fed up with the lies promised by these leaders since the last 70 years,”.
Partiently to mention Majid along with his cadre earlier this month resigned from Apni party which also led controversy in the district as few members including district president claimed that he will be the part of the party. (News Vibes of India)
