New Delhi (NVI): The central government today asked states to strictly enforce the lockdown and take legal action against violators as Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted that people were not taking the regulations seriously.
A day after the entire nation observed ‘Janata Curfew’, the Prime Minister appealed to the citizens to take the shutdown seriously after several videos of people taking out rallies and gathering on roads emerged. The PM also appealed to the state governments to ensure that rules and regulations imposed to combat COOVID-19 are being implemented properly.
