New Delhi (NVI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the 24 migrant workers who lost their lives in a road accident in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh today morning.
PM Modi tweeted in this regard in Hindi and stated, “The road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya is extremely tragic. The government is promptly involved in the relief work. I express my condolences to the families of those killed in this accident, as well as wish the injured a speedy recovery.”

At least 24 migrant labourers were killed and several others were injured after the trailer truck they were travelling in to get home, collided with a DCM van in the Auriya district, around 200 km from Lucknow.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took to his twitter handle and tweeted, “The death of migrant workers in a road accident in Auraiya district is unfortunate and sad, my condolences to the bereaved families of the dead. Instructions have also been given to provide all possible relief to the victims, to provide proper treatment to the injured, and to promptly investigate the accident.”
