PM condoles loss of lives in Raj accident

New Delhi (NVI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the loss of lives in a bus accident in Jalore district in Rajasthan in which 6 people were killed and 19 were injured, as the vehicle caught fire after coming in contact with a live wire.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister’s Office said, “Extremely saddened by the loss of lives in Jalore in Rajasthan. Many people lost their lives in this accident. I express condolences towards the families of deceased and hope for speedy recovery of those injured.”

The accident took place at around 10.30 pm yesterday near Jalore district headquarters. According to reports, the bus driver and the conductor died on the spot, while four people succumbed to their injuries during treatment in the hospital.
