Srinagar, Oct 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Omar Abdullah on his oath-taking as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and stated that the Centre will work closely with him for the region’s progress.
In a post on ‘X’, PM Modi also wished Abdullah success in his efforts to serve the people of J&K. He said that the Centre will work closely with him and his team for J&K’s progress.
“Congratulations to Shri Omar Abdullah Ji on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Wishing him the very best in his efforts to serve the people. The Centre will work closely with him and his team for J&K’s progress. @OmarAbdullah,” the PM said.
Earlier, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah took oath as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar, alongside five ministers—two from Kashmir and three from Jammu,who also took their oaths of office. (News Vibes of India)
