PM Modi also shared a brief video from his twitter account of one of his Mann ki Baat programmes in which he had referred to Tilak’s efforts to unite people against the British rule.
Tilak, one of the most respected figures of India’s freedom struggle, whose most powerful slogan was ‘Swaraj is my birth right and I shall have it’, caught the imagination of the entire country and inspired them in the fight against the colonial rule.
