Srinagar, Jan 02 (NVI): In a concerted effort to enhance emergency preparedness and public safety, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Indian Army, CAPF, RPF, and Fire & Emergency Services, conducted a comprehensive mock drill at Railway Station Amargarh, Sopore.
The exercise aimed to train personnel for swift and coordinated responses to potential emergencies, particularly those of a terrorist nature. It also assessed the effectiveness of existing security measures, response times, and identified areas requiring improvement.
Superintendent of Police Sopore,Divya D supervised the drill and lauded the joint efforts of the security forces in boosting their emergency response capabilities.
