Srinagar, Oct 22: The Cyber Cell of Poonch district has recovered an amount of Rs. 96,300 from a fraudster who had been deceiving people through various tactics and extract money from them.
An official said that the complainant approached the Cyber Cell after being cheated, prompting immediate action.
The team quickly began investigating the matter and, through focused efforts, managed to recover the full amount from the fraudster, he said.
“District Police Poonch, equipped with advanced technology and expert human resource remains at the forefront in the fight against cybercriminals,” he added.
