New Delhi (NVI): President Ram Nath Kovind will undergo a planned bypass procedure on March 30 at AIIMS Delhi.
His health condition is stable and he is under the care of experts, a statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
The President was shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi this afternoon.
“Post investigations, doctors have advised him to undergo a planned bypass procedure which is expected to be performed on the morning of March 30, Tuesday,” the statement added.
He had undergone a health check-up at the Army Hospital (R&R) following a chest discomfort on Friday morning.
