New Delhi (NVI): Many parts of India are expected to receive rainfall with strong winds exceeding up to 60 km/ph today, the IMD said.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), “Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely at isolated places: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Kerala, Mahe.”
“Heavy rainfall at isolated places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Konkan & Goa, Marathawada, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema,” it said.
Strong wind (40-50 gusting to 60 kmph) very likely over Southwest, Westcentral and Southeast Arabian Sea along/off Kerala coast, Lakshadweep area and Comorin area.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 30-40 Km/ph would occur over and adjoining areas of Loharu, Narnaul, Mahendargarh (Haryana) Sadulpur, Pilani, Jhunjunu, Viratnagar, Kotputli, Rajgarh, Laxmangarh (Rajasthan) during next 2 hours, it said.
