Srinagar, Aug 26 (NVI): Body of one among the three persons, washed away due to flashfloods in the aftermath of a cloudburst, has been recovered in Rajgarh area in Ramban on Monday evening.
An official told news agency News Vibes of India, that body of a person, was recovered by the rescue team after several hour long strenuous efforts.
“The rescue operation has been suspended due to heavy rain & flash floods,” the official said adding, “it (operation) will resume tomorrow.”
The identity of the body couldn’t be known immediately.
Meanwhile, district administration Ramban has expressed its sympathy with affected families & all possible support as required.
It is pertinent to mention here that a woman and her two children were washed away in the aftermath of flashfloods triggered by a cloudburst on Monday afternoon. (News Vibes of India)
