Srinagar, Aug 04 (NVI): At least nine persons were injured in a road accident on National Highway (NHW) in Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
An official said that a Tata Mobile with registration number JK21C-8406 and a Sumo with registration number JK16-0948 collided, causing injuries to the nine persons.
The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for initial medical treatment where from they were referred to GMC associated hospital Janglat Mandi Anantnag.
The injured persons have been identified as: Rumisa (32), wife of Istiaq Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Sonamarg, Abdul Qayoom Bairan (40), son of Nazir Ahmed, resident of Kangan, Azra (3), daughter of Irshad Ahmad Sheikh,Ishrat (20), daughter of Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh,Salreen (32), wife of Nisar Ahmad Khan,Ahkam (5), son of Nisar Ahmad Khan, Arhan (4), son of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan,Imad (7), son of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan,Usman (1), son of Nisar Ahmad Khan, all residents of Kangan Ganderbal.
Meanwhile police have taken the cognizance of this accident.(News Vibes of India)
