Russia-Ukraine crisis: Indian Embassy issues travel advisory

New Delhi: Indian Embassy has issued an advisory for all Indians residing in Ukraine to avoid non-essential travel to and within the country amid the threat of possible invasion by Russia.

In a statement, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv stated, “In view of uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, Indian nationals in Ukraine, particularly students whose stay is not essential, may consider leaving temporarily.”

“Indian nationals are also advised to avoid non-essential travel to and within Ukraine,” the statement added.

It further requested Indian nationals to keep Embassy informed about the status of the presence in Ukraine to enable the embassy to reach them where required.

The embassy continues to function normally to provide all services to Indian nationals in Ukraine, the statement read.
