New Delhi (NVI): The Supreme Court will hear pleas relating to farm laws and the ongoing farmers’ protest at Delhi borders tomorrow.
The top court will hear the pleas five days after it stayed the implementation of the new farm laws till further orders.
The SC will also hear a plea by the Central government, filed through Delhi Police, seeking an order against the proposed tractor march or any other protest march by farmers that seeks to disturb the celebrations of January 26 Republic Day in the national capital.
During the hearing, the court may also take into account the recusal of a member of the four-member panel set by it. According to the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU), former MP Bhupinder Singh Mann, who was one of the four members in the Supreme Court-appointed panel of farm laws, recused himself from the role.
