Jalandhar, May 5 (NVI): Panic gripped a busy area near BSF Chowk in Punjab’s Jalandhar city on Tuesday after an Activa scooter exploded and caught fire, officials said.
Police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot soon after the incident and brought the situation under control, they said.
No casualties were reported in the explosion, officials added.
The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.(NVI)
