Security Forces recover Arms & Ammunition in Kupwara district

Srinagar, Jan 10(NVI): In a major success, a joint operation conducted by the Border Security Force (BSF) Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police from January 7 to January 9 uncovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition in the Tee Pee forest area, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora in Kupwara district.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, security forces launched a search operation in the dense forest region. The operation led to the recovery of: 1 Pistol with 1 magazine and 8 rounds, 5 hand Grenades and 270 Rounds of AK-47 Ammunition.

Officials have emphasized that this recovery marks another step in ensuring security and thwarting potential militant activities in the region. The operation showcases the sustained vigilance of the security forces in safeguarding the area.
