New Delhi, Nov 4 (NVI): Senior Congress leader Nisar Ahmad Mandoo on Wednesday met Dr Syed Naseer Hussain, Rajya Sabha member and All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, in New Delhi.
The meeting focused on the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir, organisational matters and the future course of the Congress party in the Union Territory.
Both leaders exchanged views on strengthening the party at the grassroots level and further energising its organisational structure in Jammu and Kashmir.
The discussions also emphasised the need for unity, better coordination and collective efforts to strengthen the party and consolidate its position in the region.—(NVI)
