Srinagar, Oct 21(NVI) : Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on yesterday’s Ganderbal attack has said that no nation or individual can accept such senseless killings.
Speaking at the Police Commemoration Day event in Srinagar, LG Sinha said such senseless violence cannot be tolerated.
“The attack is unjustifiable. Innocent lives were lost, and this cannot be accepted,” he stated. He urged the police force to take all necessary measures to track down those responsible and ensure they face strict punishment.
LG Sinha also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and called for continued vigilance in combating terrorism in the region.
The attack, which took place late Sunday, claimed the lives of seven people, mostly non local working on a tunnel construction project in the area including a doctor. Several others sustained injuries and are being treated at the SKIMS hospital in Srinagar. (News Vibes of India)
