Several Pakistani soldiers killed in TTP attacks

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight said it killed several personnel of Pakistan Army, paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) and police in a number of attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces since last night.

At around 8 AM today, a policeman was shot and killed by TTP in the Sariab Road Mill area of ​​Quetta, the main city of Balochistan, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said.

In the afternoon, TTP attacked a post of FC in Bara area of Khyber Agency, killing an FC official, he said.

Last night, TTP attacked a police station in Daraban district of Dera Ismail Khan, as a result of which several police officers were killed and injured, the spokesman said.

Yesterday afternoon, TTP ambushed an army vehicle in Faqiran Chowk area of ​​Mir Ali district of North Waziristan province, in which 3 army personnel were killed and two were injured, he said.

Another attack was carried out at Khadi check post in the same district, in which a security camera was sabotaged while a spy drone camera was also shot down, the spokesman said.

A sniper attack was carried out on an FC post in Zarmanza in Meharban village of Khyber Agency and an official was injured in it, he said.

Last night at around 10 PM, an attack was carried out by TTP on the military in Mir Ali area of Bannu district of North Waziristan with light and heavy weapons in which there is a strong possibility of loss of life and property, Khurasani said.
