Poonch, June 15 (NVI): Small arms firing was reported at a few places along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir last night.
The firing was reported in the Tarkundi and Balakote sectors of Poonch district bordering Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK), officials said today.
According to officials, the firing originated from forward areas along the LoC, prompting Indian security forces to remain on high alert and closely monitor the situation.
There were no reports of any casualties or damage to property in the incident, officials said.
The situation remains under watch, while further details are awaited. (NVI)
