Srinagar, Oct 9 (NVI): A solider has gone missing gone missing in a counter-terrorism operation conducted by the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Kazwan forest of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, the army said today.
Army’s Srinagar based 15 Corps wrote on ‘X’ that an operation was launched on October 8, by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Policeand other agencies based on intelligence inputs.
“During the operation a soldier has gone missing. Search and rescue efforts are currently in progress to locate the missing soldier,” it said.
“The operation continued overnight. A massive rescue and search operation is currently underway to locate the missing soldier and ensure,” the army said.(News Vibes of India)
