Srinagar, Nov 08 (NVI) :- Two terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out in Sagipora area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A top police officer told NVI that on a specific input on Thursday evening a joint team of Police and army cordoned the suspected area following which gunshots were heard.
He said that cordon layers were tightened and later operation was suspended.
He said that the operation resumed on Friday morning and the exchange of fire resumed.
During exchange of fire two terrorists were killed while operation is on in the area, he said. (News Vibes of India)
