Srinagar, Nov 08 (NVI) :- Police on Friday claimed to have cracked TRC Srinagar grenade attack by arresting three terrorist associates of LeT.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi, said that the attack, which occurred on November 3 at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), left 12 civilians injured, including a seriously wounded woman, Abida, and a man named Habibullah, who is the sole provider for his family.

He revealed that the arrested suspects—Usama Yasin Sheikh, Umar Fayaz Sheikh, and Afnan Ahmed—are all residents of Ikhrajpora, Srinagar.

They have been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The investigation indicated that these individuals executed the attack on the instructions of handlers based in Pakistan.

The case has been registered at the Kothibagh police station, and further inquiries are ongoing to uncover more details about their involvement.(News Vibes of India)
