Anantnag, Aug 26 (NVI): As a continuation of the Civic Action Programme initiated by J&K Police, to generate an environment of positivity and constructive engagement for reform and rehabilitation, SSP Anantnag Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy today flagged off a week long Bharat Darshan Tour for 68 students from District Anantnag.
“The party comprised of 5 police officials who would be the caretakers and guides for the students. The ceremony was started off from the District Police Lines, Anantnag, and many officers and officials were present at the flag-off ceremony of Anantnag Police,” reads a statement issued to the News Vibes of India—(NVI).
It further reads, SSP Anantnag said that a visit to the country’s historical sites should, for all intents and purposes, be an opportunity students seize with both hands, as it puts an obligation of gaining knowledge on the rich heritage of India and the unity in diversity that binds the nation together.
Also, the District Police Anantnag has made comprehensive arrangements in boarding, lodging, and air travel. The students will visit prominent historical sites during the tour in Mumbai and New Delhi. The students and their parents were clear in their thanks to the Police who facilitated this initiative and provided them an opportunity to visit such historic cities.—(News Vibes of India)
