New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.1 million-mark and currently stands at 11,173,761 after 16,838 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The country’s death toll stands at 1,57,548 after 113 new fatalities were reported during the same period.

Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 21,88,183 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 10,69,660 and Karnataka with 9,53,136 positive cases.
