New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 11.5 million-mark and currently stands at 11,555,284 after 40,953 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The country’s death toll stands at 1,59,558 after 188 new fatalities were reported during the same period.
Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state with 24,22,021 COVID-19 cases followed by Kerala with 11,00,275 and Karnataka with 9,66,689 positive cases.
