New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases in India has risen to 5,85,493 after 18,653 new cases were reported in a single-day, according to Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the total number of fatalities due to the deadly contagion rose to 17,400 in the country after 507 new fatalities were reported during this period.
With 1,74,761 confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far, Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state in the country, followed by Tamil Nadu with 90,167 cases and Delhi with 87,360 positive cases.
