New Delhi (NVI): India today saw the biggest single-day rise in coronavirus cases of 22,771 in the last 24 hours, taking the the total number of cases to 6,48,315, according to Union Health Ministry data.
Meanwhile, the total number of fatalities due to the deadly contagion rose to 18,655 in the country after 442 new fatalities were reported during this period.
In Maharashtra, the COVID-19 cases increased to 1,92,990, followed by Tamil Nadu with 1,027,21 cases, and Delhi with 94,695 cases.
