New Delhi (NVI): India continues to witness a sharp surge in Covid-19 cases, after another 24,879 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 7,67,296, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The death toll has climbed to 21,129 with 487 new fatalities being recorded since yesterday..
In worst-hit Maharashtra, the COVID-19 cases increased to 2,23,724, followed by Tamil Nadu with 1,22,350 cases, and Delhi with 1,04,864 cases.
